Pedasí, Panama (PRWEB) January 19, 2009 -- Dekel Panama S.A. is pleased to announce the completion of roads this week within the Andromeda Country Club, a luxury beachfront vacation community in Pedasí, Panama, paving the way for the project's remaining infrastructure to be laid.
Roads have now been cut throughout the 40-hectare waterfront development, which sits overtop the sandy beaches of Playa La Garita and Playa Toro on the Azuero Peninsula on Panama's Pacific coast.
Project developers Dekel Panama S.A. confirm the new roads are being completed in anticipation of the implementation of infrastructure.
"Now that the roads are being finished, we are just waiting for construction plans to be approved to start putting in electricity, water and waste treatment," says Rafael Museri, a spokesperson for the development group.
Phase One lots are currently available within the Andromeda Country Club, Pedasí's first planned residential community, with preferential pricing in effect. Lots range from 800 to 1500 square meters, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the magnificent island reserve of Isla Iguana, just 20 minutes offshore.
Owners can create their own custom-designed homes, or choose from several home models elaborated by Mallol y Mallol, one of Panama's foremost architectural firms. Model designs feature airy, luminous spaces, maximizing the panoramic ocean views and providing ease of movement and function. All homes will be equipped with the latest in modern and environmentally friendly amenities.
The project is set to begin building early this year with completion in 2011. Residents will enjoy the use of extensive recreational facilities including a beach club and bar; a gym and luxury spa; basketball, volleyball and tennis courts; a business center; a kids playground; and several green areas, with parks and hiking trails centered on the two natural creeks that wind through the property.
The area offers endless adventure and leisure activity. Further afield lies Isla Cañas, whose 14-kilometer-long beach receives dozens of nesting turtles nightly, and Playa Venao, whose consistent swell attracts surfers from all over the world.
In summer months, which runs from December to April, local towns burst into celebration, with the peak of the festivities falling during carnival week in February. Las Tablas, about an hour from Pedasí, is the center of attention during carnival, with parades and floats filling the streets with life, color and music.
